Qualifications

• Previous experience and qualifications in instructing classes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness classes in the Spa, including specialist classes and 1-2-1 for care floor residents and administration duties.
• Assist members in setting and achieving fitness goals, offering advice and encouragement.
• Manage associated administration duties and maintain accurate member records.
• Ensure awareness of each member's health status before appointments and keep records updated.
• Ensure Wellness Spa users receive sufficient instruction to ensure safe exercise.
• Support membership retention by encouraging participation and a fun atmosphere.
• Inform the Wellness Spa Manager of any relevant issues.
• Develop and promote organized events such as fitness challenges and group activities.
• Support the Spa Manager to increase visits and revenue and promote other spa services.

Permanent Full time, 40 hours per week 5 days per week including weekends on a rota system, shifts 8am - 3pm or 10am -6pm

You’ll help us make health happen by:

• Conducting fitness classes in the Spa, including specialist classes & 1-2-1 for the care floor residents and including administration duties
• Assisting members in setting and achieving their fitness goals, offering advice and encouragement to each member during their visit.
• Manage associated administration duties and maintain accurate member records.
• Ensuring you're aware of every member's health status prior to each appointment, ensuring records are updates as necessary
• Ensuring all Wellness Spa users receive sufficient instruction to ensure safe exercise
• Supporting membership retention through actively encouraging member participation and promoting a helpful and fun filled atmosphere to encourage repeat visits
• Always Informing the Wellness Spa Manager of any relevant issues
• Developing and promoting organised events such as fitness challenges and group activities
• Supporting the Spa Manager to increase visits and revenue, promoting other services in the spa as required

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

Previous experience and qualifications in instructing classes is essential as this role requires teaching multiple classes on shift. Previous experience in working in spas or the fitness industry along with pool responder qualification and pool plant experience is desirable. Great patience and customer service with a proactive attitude will succeed in this role.
