Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Driver at Arbrook House Care Home in Esher. You will operate the care home mini bus for residents with a customer-first approach, ensuring safe transport and reliable service. Training opportunities and comprehensive induction support your development within a caring, resident-focused environment.

Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence, be able to work flexibly, and have prior experience in service roles. DBS and uniform are provided.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence required.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment.
• First aid trained; experience with wheelchair restraints and tail-lifts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive the care home mini bus for residents, day and night.

Arbrook House Care Home, 36 Copsem Lane, Esher, Surrey KT10 9HE

£13.10 - £14.10 per hour depending on experience

Bank Contract -Shifts are typically 2 hours, therefore candidates living locally are preferred

• Driving care home mini bus for our residents (day and night) to and from to
• There is an opportunity to complete Midas training to transport our residents out on day trips.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

As a Driver, it’s essential that you hold a full, clean UK driving licence and have experience in a customer focused environment. You’re polite and courteous with a can-do approach to your work. Flexible and adaptable, you’re a skilled and responsible driver that has an ability to build a trusting relationship with people. First aid trained with previous experience driving groups of people, using wheelchair restraint systems and vehicle tail-lifts would be an advantage.
