Job summary

Field Service Engineer opportunities at UK Forks, a division of Vp plc, based in the East Midlands. You will service and repair Telehandlers and hire machines on customer sites, delivering high-quality support and proactive maintenance.

Training is provided to stay ahead of the latest innovations in material handling equipment. You will travel to customer sites as required, maintain thorough documentation of repairs, and work with our operations teams to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience of repairing and servicing plant equipment including Telehandlers – Essential
• A recognised mechanical qualification in mechanical plant or agricultural engineering – Desirable
• A practical problem solver, using initiative where necessary
• A competent communicator with excellent customer service skills
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as and when required
• Well organised with experience of managing time effectively
• A valid driving licence

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair our hire machinery on-site with customers to high standards.
• Act as frontline representative for customers, delivering exceptional service.
• Carry out essential maintenance and servicing to our hire machinery on-site with customers.
• Offer breakdown resolutions and an effective repair service.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical/mechanical issues during site visits.
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify service improvements and maintain accurate repair records.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our team, ensuring the maintenance and repair of our machines are completed to our high standards.
