Job summary

Ridgeway Lodge Care Home in Dunstable is seeking a Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will provide person-centred support with daily living activities, meals, and mobility, following care plans to ensure dignity and wellbeing for Residents.

This role welcomes both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training and ongoing development. Competitive hourly pay and a range of benefits are offered.

Job description

Ridgeway Lodge Care Home is a welcoming care home located in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. Providing residential and dementia care, the home offers a warm and supportive environment where Residents can enjoy life at their own pace. With comfortable lounges, en suite bedrooms, an on site pub, hair salon, regular activities and trips out, colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care and make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.95 to £13.45 per hour
• Contracted to 22 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
