Job summary

Watford House Care Home in High Peak is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing. You will follow care plans and help residents feel comfortable, respected and valued.

This role is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training and ongoing development provided. The successful candidate will work alternate weekends, joining a warm, supportive team committed to high-quality, person-centred

Job description

Our residential home is in the beautiful High Peak, providing high quality Residential, Respite and Dementia care for 36-residents.

Care Assistant Contract
  • £12.71 per hour
  • Contracted to 36 hours per week
  • Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
