Dawat-e-Islami invites applications for a Quran teacher to join its UK team. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Tajweed and Islamic Studies for children aged 6–13, using our textbooks and materials.

The role emphasizes high-quality education, ongoing professional development, DBS checks, and a supportive management team. Hours are Monday to Friday 4:30pm–7:45pm; salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

The Role

• Ability to work on own initiative and identify new opportunities
• Ability to relate well to young people and adults
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good standard of IT skills

• Portray a positive attitude
• Successfully completed Alim/Alima course or a similar Islamic course
• Successfully completed Hifz course
• Successfully completed Qiraat course

Selection Process

• Candidates will be shortlisted using the job description and personal specifications
• References will be taken up (at least one from the previous employer)

• Either face-to-face or telephone interview will be conducted
• Pass company Teaching test
• Any offers made will be subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and completion of mandatory e-modules prior to starting the job
