Job summary

Dawat-e-Islami is recruiting an Islamic Studies teacher to deliver engaging lessons in Islamic Studies and Arabic Grammar for students aged 16 and above. The role requires planning lessons, following the timetable, and ensuring high-quality education in line with the organisation's goals.

The position is part-time with evening hours in the United Kingdom. Successful candidates will have completed Alim/Alima and Qiraat courses and will participate in ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent (Preferred).
• Qualified in Islamic Studies: Alim/Alima or equivalent.
• Qiraat course completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Islamic Studies and Arabic Grammar.
• Teach students aged 16 and above using provided materials.
• Complete syllabus within the given time frame.
• Follow the prescribed teaching timetable.
• Prepare students for mid-term and annual exams.
• Engage with students to make learning enjoyable.
• Maintain high standards of education aligned with organisational expectations.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of Islamic Studies and Arabic Grammar.
• Update skills via ongoing training and professional development.
• Work independently and identify new opportunities.
• Communicate clearly in writing and speech.
