Blue Recruitment Personnel Limited is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver for the Doncaster area. You’ll join a busy logistics operation, carrying out trunking and general haulage work, with a competitive hourly rate of £19.00 to £23.00 per hour depending on shift pattern and experience.

The role suits a reliable driver who takes pride in safe, efficient driving and delivering high standards of service at all times. Weekly pay, day and night shifts, and local routes are on offer.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 points on licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure loads transported safely and securely.

Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver in the Doncaster area, offering a competitive market hourly rate of £19.00 to £23.00 per hour, depending on shift pattern and experience.

The Role:

We are looking for a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy logistics operation carrying out trunking and general haulage work.

The role will suit a driver who takes pride in safe, efficient driving and delivering a high standard of service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out Class 1 trunking and/or delivery work professionally.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Ensure all loads are transported safely and securely.
• Follow route plans, delivery schedules, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, including tachograph use and delivery documentation.
• Adhere to all driving hours, tachograph, and road transport regulations.
• Represent Blue Recruitment Personnel and the client professionally at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• No more than 6 points on licence preferred, subject to client requirements.

Suitable Experience:

This role would suit experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers, LGV C+E Drivers, Trunking Drivers, Container Drivers, Distribution Drivers, Tramper Drivers, or those with a strong background in general haulage and logistics operations.
