Job summary

Blue Recruitment Personnel Limited is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver for the Doncaster area. You’ll join a busy logistics operation, carrying out trunking and general haulage work, with a competitive hourly rate of £19.00 to £23.00 per hour depending on shift pattern and experience.

The role suits a reliable driver who takes pride in safe, efficient driving and delivering high standards of service at all times. Weekly pay, day and night shifts, and local routes are on offer.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 points on licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 1 trunking and/or delivery work.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure loads transported safely and securely.
• Follow route plans, delivery schedules, and procedures.
• Maintain records, including tachograph use and delivery documentation.
• Adhere to driving hours, tachograph, and road transport regulations.
• Represent Blue Recruitment Personnel and the client professionally at all times.
