Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers in Doncaster to work with our client, a well-known supermarket retailer.

Shifts include full-time and part-time across 24 hours with a guaranteed rota. Pay ranges from £19.12 to £25.77 per hour. Applicants must have a Class 1 licence and at least 6 months driving experience, plus UK DCPC and a Digi-tacho card; up to 6 points may be accepted.

Qualifications

• Class 1 licence with at least 6 months driving experience.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• Endorsements: DD, TT, DR, CD, IN not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle.
• Store deliveries.
• Deliver temperature controlled goods.
• Complete routine vehicle checks and paperwork.

Working Hours

Our client offers a variety of shifts including part time, full time and adhoc. Please bear in mind some weekend work may also be required.

About you

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience in commercial driving. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
