Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an experienced PDI Technician, Service Technician, Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician to join a busy dealership in Cambridge. Applicants must have previous Technician or Mechanic experience, hold a Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, and have a Full UK Driving Licence.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (e.g., IMI/City & Guilds).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Previous Technician or Mechanic experience and PDI exposure is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on customer and fleet vehicles.
• Complete routine servicing, including oil and filter changes.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure they are safe and ready for customer delivery.
• Complete digital job cards and workshop documentation accurately.
• Follow workshop processes and maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Use digital workshop systems and iPads as part of the repair and inspection process.
