Job summary

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician or Mechanic with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to develop within a high-performance environment.
  • Previous experience working with a recognised manufacturer is advantageous, but comprehensive brand training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to exact manufacturer standards using the latest technology.
  • Performing vehicle health checks and routine servicing tasks.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs as authorised by customers.
  • Completing warranty repairs accurately and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer procedures.
  • Road testing vehicles to confirm fault rectification and optimal performance.
  • Ensuring all documentation related to diagnostics, repairs, and inspections is completed accurately.
  • Supporting the wider team with additional repairs when required, maintaining quality standards throughout

Education

We are currently seeking a qualified PDI Technician to join a reputable Main Dealer group in Ellesmere Port.
