Octane Recruitment is seeking a PDI / Service Technician in Cambridge. The role involves performing pre-delivery inspections and servicing, using digital workshop systems, with a 45-hour week including weekend shifts on a rota. Qualifications

• Recognised Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience as a PDI Technician, Service Technician, Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
• Experience carrying out Pre Delivery Inspections and basic servicing is desirable.
• Comfortable using digital workshop systems and iPads.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on customer and fleet vehicles.
• Complete routine servicing, including oil and filter changes.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure they are safe and ready for customer delivery.
• Complete digital job cards and workshop documentation accurately.
• Follow workshop processes and maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Use digital workshop systems and iPads as part of the repair and inspection process.

We are recruiting for an experienced PDI Technician, Service Technician, Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician to join a busy dealership in Cambridge. Applicants must have previous Technician or Mechanic experience, hold a recognised Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Salary:Up to £38,012 depending + Bonus

Hours:45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota
