Job summary

National Autistic Society is seeking a caring and reliable Support Worker for Park View in Burnham-on-Sea. You will help residents live their best lives by following support plans and daily routines, including personal care, engaging activities and developing life skills.

The role is part-time (30 hours/week) with evening and weekend flexibility. Driving licence preferred and DBS checks are required. NAS offers extensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

About the Service

Park View is a residential service in Burnham on Sea for four autistic adults, there is a self‑contained flat within the home and the main house will be shared between 3 individuals when the home is fully occupied. It provides an ideal environment for autistic people and with the help of our fully‑trained and experienced staff we can enable individuals to acquire skills to live more independently.

About the Role

We are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers. Your role is to help people live their best lives by following their support plans and daily routines.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating)
  • Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts)
  • Support life skills & independence (budgeting, shopping, meal preparation)

This advert is for a part‑time position at 30 Hours per week.

Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families and will include evening and weekend working.

Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year)is preferred
