The National Autistic Society is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help autistic adults live their best lives at Longford Court. You will follow individual support plans and daily routines to promote independence and wellbeing.

We value a caring, reliable approach. Experience with autism is helpful but not essential; driving licence preferred; 30 hours per week, with 24 hours also considered.

About the Service

Longford Court includes four residential homes, Ty Coed, Ty Mawr, Ty Mynydd, and Ty Canol, and one bungalow, Ty Coed Bungalow. Pale Road and Old Road are specialist services that provides 24-hour residential support for four autistic adults with moderate to complex behavioural needs.

About the Role

We are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers. Your role is to help people live their best lives by following their support plans and daily routines.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating)
• Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts)

What We’re Looking For

• For you to inspire others with a positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable people
• Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential
• Personal experience or a passion for helping others is welcome

This advert is for a full-time position at 30 hours per week, however we will also consider applicants for 24 hours per week.

Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year)ispreferred
