Gemini AMPM Ltd. in Burgess Hill is seeking a hands-on Talent Acquisition and People Operations specialist to run end-to-end recruitment for two growing trading companies. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, office-based five days a week.

You will manage direct sourcing for engineers across fire detection systems, write precise trade adverts, and oversee onboarding, contracts, and GDPR-compliant records. The position emphasizes on-site work and a strong sourcing focus.

The job that runs our careers site. Time Served is the hiring platform for the fire and security installation and maintenance industry, built and owned by the AMPM Group, an employee-owned group of fire, security and building services companies across London and the South East. We are recruiting the person who will run it: a hands-on, standalone role covering talent acquisition for two growing trading companies and the people operations behind them. The split is roughly 80% talent acquisition, 20% people operations.

The work: build and manage direct sourcing pipelines for installation and service engineers across fire detection, intruder alarm, access control, CCTV and suppression, without default agency spend. Write precise, trade-specific job adverts and run the listings across Indeed, LinkedIn, the FIA job board and trade forums. Represent the company at careers fairs and FE college open days. Own the full recruitment cycle for every hire: briefing, screening, structured first-stage interviews, technical assessments, offers. Source apprentices through FE colleges and the National Apprenticeship Service. Own onboarding end to end: offer letters, contracts, right to work, DBS checks where required, induction, and personnel records kept in full GDPR compliance. Administer Time Served itself, and use the latest AI tools to make sourcing, screening and drafting faster and sharper.

Basic salary £28,000 to £35,000 depending on experience, with the standard workplace pension and statutory sick pay. Full time, 40 hours a week, Burgess Hill, office based five days a week.
