The setting is a dynamic Further Education environment in Bromley that provides tailored learning pathways and comprehensive inclusion services for young adults. Provide 1:1 educational, technical, and accessibility support to a student taking a Level 3 Media programme.
Assist the learner in understanding course content, managing deadlines, and using specialist media equipment or assistive technology.
Support the student's personal development, social skills, and self-advocacy in line with their target outcomes.
Assist with personal care, mobility, safety, and general well-being as required within the college environment.
Collaborate with teaching staff and the learning inclusion team to monitor progress and adapt support strategies.
A recognised qualification or degree in Media, Journalism, or a closely related subject is essential. Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent).
Strong communication skills, empathy, adaptability, and an enthusiastic approach to supporting independent learning.
Ability to reliably commute to the college campus in Bromley.
