Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd is recruiting site operatives to cover Chelmsford, Braintree and surrounding areas. Flexible hours from 32 to 48 per week, including weekends. An enhanced hourly rate applies for bank holidays.

Hours are 08:45-17:15 (8 hours) or 08:45-16:15 (7 hours) from October to March. You must drive or have your own transport to work on various sites and be prepared for heavy lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Assisting members of the public and keeping areas tidy.
• Some heavy lifting involved and standing for long periods.
• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to stay calm in difficult situations with good interpersonal skills.
• General good health and ability to work on foot for long periods.
• Minimum GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).

• Ability to stay calm in difficult situations with good interpersonal skills.
• General good health, able to work on foot for lengthy periods of time.
• Qualified to minimum GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Additional Requirements

• Possible temp to perm placements.
• Applicants must have steel toe capped boots.
