Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is seeking a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School from the start of the new term. You will assist the Nursery Teacher to support learning, development and wellbeing in a warm Early Years environment.

Our client's Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team from the start of the new term. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and wants to make a real difference to the youngest children in their school community.

The Primary School is part of our client, a multi-academy trust serving schools across Bexley, Gravesham, and Medway. They offer a supportive, collaborative environment with access to trust-wide training and development opportunities.

About the Role

You will work alongside the Nursery Teacher to support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a warm, stimulating Early Years environment.

Day to day this includes:

• Supporting the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Helping to plan and deliver engaging play-based activities.
• Supervising and supporting children during learning, play, and routines (including care needs such as toileting and feeding, where required).
• Observing and recording children's progress and development.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
• Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
