Job summary

Vision for Education are looking to recruit a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to work full-time in the TS12 area. The role involves supporting the nursery team, delivering age-appropriate activities, and helping with development across communication, language, and social skills.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team in a welcoming early years setting, with opportunities for CPD and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a Nursery or Early Years setting.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 TA or Early Years qualification is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery team in delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to children as required.
• Support children's communication, language, physical, social, and emotional development.
• Help create a positive, safe nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and learning resources.
• Encourage children to develop independence, confidence, and positive relationships.
• Promote positive behaviour and support children's wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, Nursery staff, parents, and other professionals where appropriate.

Salary: £92.56 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

Vision for Education are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis within a welcoming early years setting in the TS12 area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop through play, exploration, and engaging learning experiences. You will work closely with the Nursery team to create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children in a Nursery or Early Years setting is desirable.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential.

• The ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
• A patient, caring, and nurturing approach.
• Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
• Availability to work full time, Monday to Friday.
