Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN in a primary setting. You will plan, prepare and deliver learning activities, monitor progress and assist in classroom management.
You will work closely with Teachers, maintain confidentiality, and ideally hold NVQ Level 3 HLTA or equivalent, with strong literacy and numeracy. DBS checks and health clearance apply.
£21,801 per annum (FTE £29,111); Paid for working 44.5 weeks per year
Working closely alongside our client's Teachers, you'll help pupils become confident, independent learners who stay focused and engaged.
Day to day, you will:

You bring energy, organisation, and self-motivation to everything you do, along with the communication skills to build genuine rapport with children and parents / carers alike. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are a must, as is a real commitment to making learning irresistible while staying flexible enough to adapt your approach to each child's needs.
You’ll also be professional, trustworthy, and committed to developing your own practice, with a good understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
Ideally, you’ll hold an NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants / HLTA qualification (or equivalent), or be working towards one, with experience across the primary curriculum, including supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
