What We're Looking For

Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). Previous experience as a Care Home Manager or an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager looking to progress.

Strong knowledge of dementia care, person-centred care, and care home regulations.

Experience leading, motivating, and developing care teams.

Good understanding of safeguarding, CQC standards, governance, and compliance.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

A compassionate approach with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding care.

Your Role

• Lead the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.
• Support and develop the staff team, creating a positive and inclusive working culture.
• Promote person-centred care that meets the individual needs of every resident.
• Monitor quality, compliance, and care standards, ensuring the home remains fully compliant with CQC requirements.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
• Oversee staffing, rotas, recruitment, and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement across the service while maintaining a warm, welcoming home environment.
• Ensure the home operates safely, effectively, and in line with all relevant legislation and policies.
