Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a candidate to supervise and support catering units, ensuring operations align with council policies and procedures. The role emphasizes commitment to quality service delivery and continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and organisation.

Working Monday to Friday, 07:15–14:00 (33.75 hours), on a term-time contract with two in-service days annually, the post requires PVG scheme membership or update and pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under PVG Scheme.
• Must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
• Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required if spent abroad 3+ months in last 5 years.
• Offer subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks and at least one reference.

Responsible for the supervision and support, at both staffing and operational level, for specific Catering unit / s, ensuring operations are in line with Aberdeenshire Council’s policies and procedures

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Monday - Friday

07:15 - 14:00 = 33/75hrs

Contracted - Term Time (every day school is open + working 2 In-Service Day per year)
