Job summary

Veolia is hiring for an afternoon shift role in Aldridge, requiring a full UK driving licence and practical knowledge of plant and waste operations. The candidate will operate processing equipment, assist in maintenance, drive site vehicles after training, and promote environmental awareness across teams.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Operational knowledge of plant & equipment and ability to drive mobile plant machinery.
• Knowledge of health and safety ideally to an IOSH standard.
• Previous experience within a similar operational manual handling role.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant processing equipment such as mixing tanks, pumps and control room operations.
• Carry out treatment of waste operations.
• Operate site vehicles—forklift trucks, wheeled loading shovel, rigid bulk tanker, and others after training.
• Assist in maintenance of plant and equipment and processes.
• Promote environmental awareness to contractors, visitors and employees.

Afternoon Shift- Monday to Thursday 14:00pm -22:00pm

Afternoon Shift - Friday - 12.30pm -20.00pm

Saturdays Overtime- 06:00am to 13:00pm

Location - Aldridge, WS9 8BL

• Assist in the maintenance of the plant and equipment and processes
• Promote environmental awareness to contractors, visitors, and employees
