Job summary

ABCA Group Ltd is seeking a Service Coordinator / Reactive Works Planner in Lancashire to coordinate reactive service works across a designated region. You will schedule engineers, manage workloads, coordinate stock and liaise with clients to ensure timely completion and high service standards.

The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, with Mondays to Fridays work and 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating, managing or planning engineers’ workloads.
• Experience using Clik software.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing demands.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK with understanding of logistics and route planning.
• Strong administrative skills and MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule weekly workloads and efficient routes for engineers.
• Manage engineer workloads to ensure balanced schedules and alternatives when needed.
• Coordinate stock by ordering specialist materials for pre-booked jobs.
• Arrange stock collections and provide engineers with required parts.
• Liaise with clients regarding scheduled works and any changes.
• Ensure work is scheduled per due dates and timescales.
• Handle initial client and engineer enquiries with a professional service.
• Adapt schedules to changes and challenges to keep work progressing.
