Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is seeking an Operations Manager for Reactive Maintenance & Voids in Hemel Hempstead. The role oversees a £10-12m portfolio of works and drives operational success across contracts.

You will lead a direct workforce including Contract Managers, Supervisors, Multi Trade Operatives and Admin/Planning Team, coordinating with Local Authority and Housing Association clients. Salary up to £75,000 + benefits, with a modern, forward-thinking business and ambitious growth plans

Qualifications

Proven track record in securing, and delivering reactive maintenance contracts with public sector / housing association clients.
IT literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Ability to understand client/contract requirements to maximise productivity and measure improvements.
Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
Good understanding of H&S legislation.

Responsibilities

Lead the operational delivery of reactive maintenance contracts across the portfolio.
Oversee program planning/scheduling of works and KPI monitoring for performance improvement.
Manage health and safety across sites and contracts.
Directly manage Contract Managers, Supervisors, and Admin/Planning team.
