Job summary

Metro Rod Bedford, Luton & Watford is seeking a Reactive Drainage Engineer to join our fast-growing team. You will carry out emergency drainage services, including cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance for commercial and domestic sites, in accordance with H&S and quality procedures.

This full-time role includes on-call rotas, overtime opportunities and a benefits package. You will work within a national franchise network serving FM, housing, retail and leisure sectors; a full UK driving

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial & domestic drainage is essential.
• Experience in drain cleaning, drain repairs, patch lining.
• Drainage tickets including HPWJ, Confined spaces and CSCS.
• Experience with CCTV surveys; lining is an advantage.
• Positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
• Willing to work occasional / unsociable hours.
• Hold a full UK driving licence; over 21 for insurance.
• Must live in LU, AL, MK postcode areas.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of services associated with our emergency services offering, cleaning, clearance, repair, installation and maintenance of our customer’s assets new and old
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise
• Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures
• Maintain a high standard of company service, vehicles and equipment
• Accurately record completed work details via internal and client systems
• Communicate effectively to ensure an excellent service is provided at all times
• Have a positive and helpful can-do attitude
• Cover normal working hours and on call out-of-hours on a rota basis and have a flexible attitude to covering emergency situations when called upon outside of the these periods
