Job summary

Metro Rod Bedford, Luton & Watford is seeking a Reactive Drainage Engineer to perform emergency drainage services, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance for client assets. You will work across commercial and domestic drainage projects in a fast-growing division.

The role requires experience in drainage, CCTV surveys, and a flexible attitude to on-call hours. We offer a structured training path, a bonus scheme, and full van pack with equipment.

Qualifications

• Carry out emergency services, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of customer assets.
• Deliver high standard of customer service and technical expertise.
• Record completed work details via internal and client systems.
• Cover normal hours and on-call out-of-hours on a rota with a flexible attitude.
• Experience in commercial and domestic drainage is essential.
• Experience in drain cleaning, repairs and patch lining.
• Drainage tickets including HPWJ, Confined spaces and CSCS.
• Experience with CCTV surveys and lining is an advantage.
• Be willing to work occasional / unsociable hours.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of services associated with our emergency services offering, cleaning, clearance, repair, installation and maintenance of our customer’s assets new and old
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise
• Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures
• Maintain a high standard of company service, vehicles and equipment
• Accurately record completed work details via internal and client systems
• Communicate effectively to ensure an excellent service is provided at all times
• Have a positive and helpful can-do attitude
• Cover normal working hours and on-call out-of-hours on a rota basis and have a flexible attitude to covering emergency situations when called upon outside of the these periods
