Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced Reach Truck / Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a busy warehouse in Patchway, Bristol. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate and stable hours, with shifts from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

You will operate forklifts and support daily warehouse operations ensuring safety and accuracy. The role requires valid forklift licences and previous warehouse experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from lorries and internal storage areas.
• Move, stack, and replenish stock within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse computer systems (WMS).
• Conduct basic forklift checks and report faults.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe working environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

Reach Truck / Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Patchway, Bristol, BS34

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting an experienced and reliable Reach Truck / Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Patchway, Bristol (BS34). This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role offering a competitive hourly rate and stable working hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for forklift operation as well as general warehouse duties, supporting daily operations in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading goods from lorries and internal storage areas
• Moving, stacking, and replenishing stock within the warehouse
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Using handheld scanners and warehouse computer systems (WMS)
• Conducting basic forklift checks and reporting any faults
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Adhering strictly to all health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklift licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS, or equivalent)
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Confident using scanners and basic computer systems
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Strong time management and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
