Pertemps Bristol Perm Hub is seeking a reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm role in Cannington, near Bridgwater. You will operate a counterbalance truck, load/unload curtain-siders and containers, and perform general warehouse and yard duties in a busy environment.

Pertemps Bristol Perm Hub seeks a reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm role in Cannington, near Bridgwater.

Pay is £14.50–£15.00 per hour, dependent on experience, with Monday to Friday hours plus Saturday shifts and plenty of overtime available. Own transport is essential due to the location.

Duties include operating a counterbalance truck safely and efficiently, loading and unloading curtain-siders and containers, and carrying out general warehouse and yard tasks while maintaining a clean, safe working area. Applicants should hold a valid counterbalance licence, demonstrate competent handling skills, and show commitment to workplace safety. An immediate start is offered, with the prospect of a permanent contract for the right candidate.

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehousing and logistics team based in Cannington, just outside Bridgwater. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate to secure a long-term role with an immediate start.

Main Duties:

• Operating a Counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles (curtain-siders, containers, etc.)
• General warehouse and yard duties as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid, accredited Counterbalance licence
• Proven commercial experience operating a forklift within a busy warehouse or logistics environment
• Due to the location in Cannington, own transport is essential
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
