Job summary

Suffolk County Council is recruiting a Reablement Support Worker for the Home First service across Suffolk. You will help customers and their family carers to improve health, wellbeing and independence in their own homes, delivering compassionate, personalised care from a dedicated team.

No prior experience is required as you will receive full induction and in-depth training, with access to a funded Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence and access to a car.
• No previous experience required; full induction and training provided.
• Opportunity to complete Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (funded).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and their family carers to promote health, wellbeing and independence.
• Support individuals through personalised care plans and short-term enablement strategies.
• Assist with dignified personal care needs and explore alternative ways of meeting long-term needs.
• Promote services that enable safe, independent living at home and maintain accurate records for reviews.
