Job summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking an Operational Manager Clinical Lead to line manage Occupational Therapists and Sensory Workers in the South Hants Hub and oversee clinical management for the Reablement Service. The role supports a countywide transformation, driving positive change and promoting effective multi-disciplinary working to deliver outstanding reablement for Hampshire residents.

You will work with Operational Managers to share learnings, provide guidance and develop a growth

Qualifications

• Hold an Occupational Therapy or RO VI qualification and registration with the relevant professional body.
• Proven leadership experience, role modelling best practices, and embedding a growth culture.
• Experience as an Occupational Therapist or Sensory Worker with knowledge of reablement resources and access.
• Strong teamwork and established joint working with peers and healthcare professionals.
• Effective negotiation and influencing skills for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and supervision with links to Advanced Practitioners and countywide clinical leads.
• Manage allocation of Occupational Therapy and Sensory cases and monitor KPIs.
• Identify trends in waitlists and optimise resource use with triage and quality leads.
• Engage stakeholders across councils and healthcare professionals for integrated service delivery.
• Oversee CPD processes and ensure due process for CPD requests.
• Oversee memberships (HCPC, RCOT, RWPN or equivalent) and maintain consistent service standards.
