Job summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking an Operational Manager Clinical Lead to line manage Occupational Therapists and Sensory Workers in the South Hants Hub, overseeing clinical management and contributing to service transformation.

You will work with Operational Managers across the service to promote MDT working, deliver an outstanding reablement service for Hampshire residents, and lead governance, CPD, and performance against KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in clinical or social care settings.
• Strong teamwork and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Excellent decision-making and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Clinical oversight and supervision of staff.
• Manage allocation of Occupational Therapy and Sensory cases; monitor KPIs.
• Identify waitlist trends and optimise resource use.
• Engage with District & Borough Councils and healthcare professionals.
• Oversee CPD processes and ensure due process for requests.
• Ensure governance, professional memberships and standards across the county.
