Job summary

Altogether Care in the Totnes area is seeking Reablement Workers to join a compassionate team delivering home-based reablement services across South Devon. You will help clients regain independence, working with families and professionals to support personal goals.

We offer flexible shifts, a permanent contract, induction, ongoing training, mileage allowance, pension, wellbeing support and career progression opportunities. A driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required to travel across the community.
• Experience in reablement work is desirable but not essential, full training provided.
• A caring, proactive attitude and enthusiasm are essential.

Responsibilities

• Help clients regain independence and confidence in daily living at home.
• Work with clients to set meaningful goals and identify steps to achieve them.
• Develop skills and confidence for independent living and daily activities.
• Provide physical and emotional support, encouraging participation in daily tasks.
• Monitor progress and report when independence is achieved.
• Follow safeguarding policies and liaise with families and professionals as required.
• Maintain accurate records using the mobile care app.
