Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics seeks a proactive Operations Manager for its UK RDC network. You will maximise RDC profitability by building long-term B2B relationships, delivering excellent service and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

Key duties include business development, customer service management, asset management, people leadership, clear communication, and strict health and safety compliance across multiple sites. Strong coaching and cost-control focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or distribution operations within a multi-site network.
• Proven ability to drive profitability and manage costs in a RDC setting.
• Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop local market knowledge and communicate updates to staff.
• Improve delivery service and resolve customer queries and issues.
• Manage warehouse layout, stock movements and audits.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Ensure staff adhere to procedures and health and safety standards.
• Coordinate with regional management and drive cost-efficiency.
