Job summary

FPS Distribution Ltd. is seeking an Assistant RDC Manager to join our busy RDC team. The role focuses on maximizing sales and profitability while delivering excellent customer service and overseeing a safe and efficient RDC operation.

You will analyse performance data, manage costs, and work closely with sales to maximise growth opportunities. A flexible pattern and occasional travel are required.

• Experience in RDC operations and sales

• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Maximise RDC sales and profitability through developing long‑term B2B relationships
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships using multiple contact methods
• Manage warehouse layout and stock movements to optimise efficiency
• Lead recruitment, induction and performance management of RDC staff
• Ensure health & safety, security, and compliance across RDC operations
• Communicate performance and changes to regional management and branch staff
