Job summary

Lyreco in Dartford, UK, is seeking an experienced RDC Manager to lead our regional distribution centre on a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend work. You will champion efficient operations and staff engagement.

Key duties include vehicle compliance, driver instruction, and covering routes during holidays. The role also drives our EV fleet expansion and sustainability goals, with overtime available if desired. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a current full C1 driving license with minimal penalties.
• Working knowledge of tachographs and EU driving regulations (WTD).
• Be organized and flexible to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Smart personal appearance is essential.
• CRB check will be required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Team oriented; proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all vehicles are maintained to manufacturers' recommendations and comply with legal requirements.
• Establish and maintain personnel files for all RDC staff; keep records up to date.
• Motivate staff and hold regular monthly meetings; record minutes.
• Instruct drivers on operations, procedures, quality, and security.
• Cover delivery routes for holidays/absences and ad hoc volume drops.
