Job summary

Lyreco in Dartford seeks an experienced RDC Manager to lead our regional distribution centre operations on a Monday–Friday schedule. You will oversee vehicle maintenance, driver instruction, and staff engagement while supporting a growing EV fleet and sustainability goals.

The role requires strong organisational skills, a current C1 license, knowledge of tachographs, and a customer-focused mindset. Collaboration with teams and compliance with regulations are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Hold a current full C1 driving license with no more than 6 minor offence penalty points.
• Working knowledge of tachographs and EU driving regulations relating to working time directive.
• Be organized and flexible to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all vehicles are maintained per manufacturers' recommendations, roadworthy, and compliant with legal requirements.
• Establish and maintain personnel files for RDC staff and keep records up to date.
• Motivate staff and run monthly meetings with minutes.
• Instruct drivers on operation procedures, quality, and security.
• Cover delivery routes for staff holidays and ad hoc volume drops.
