Lyreco, a global leader in workplace solutions, seeks a Regional Distribution Centre Operations Manager for its Doncaster RDC. The role covers relief operations and ensuring reliable customer delivery, with a 5am start, Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly.

The ideal candidate will hold a C1 driving license with minimal penalty points, be familiar with tachographs and EU time regulations, and demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills. CRB checks are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a current full C1 driving license with no more than 6 minor offence penalty points.
• Working knowledge of tachographs and EU driving regulations related to the working time directive.
• Be organized and flexible to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Smart personal appearance is essential.
• CRB check is required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations, roadworthy and compliant with legal requirements (payload, tachograph).
• Establish and maintain personnel files for all RDC staff and keep records up to date.
• Motivate staff and hold regular monthly meetings with all staff and produce minutes.
• Ensure drivers are instructed on operation procedures, quality, and security.
• Cover delivery routes for staff holidays and absence as well as ad hoc volume drops.
