Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Reliability Engineer for a UK-based FMCG manufacturer. The role focuses on improving equipment reliability by identifying root causes and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.

You will work with Maintenance and Production teams to drive site-wide improvements and reduce downtime. Ideal candidates have experience in reliability/maintenance engineering within high-volume manufacturing, and a strong grasp of maintenance principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in reliability or maintenance engineering
• Strong understanding of maintenance principles
• Experience with RCA (root cause analysis)
• Experience in FMCG or high-volume manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

• Analyse equipment failures and identify root causes
• Develop and improve preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
• Use engineering data to identify trends, recurring faults and opportunities for improvement
• Drive reliability and continuous improvement projects across site
• Work closely with Maintenance and Production teams
• Improve asset availability, performance and overall equipment reliability
• Support the development of PPM and condition-based maintenance programmes
• Help reduce downtime, maintenance costs and repeat failures
