Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a Quality Auditor (Intake) to join our Technical team in Ebbw Vale. You will inspect and test incoming raw materials and packaging, identify non-conformities and work with suppliers to resolve issues, ensuring quality and compliance from the start of production.

Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm, with a salary of £28,915 per annum. You will handle sampling, testing, documentation, and supplier communication to drive investigations and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for inspecting raw materials and packaging.
• Strong communication skills required for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to collect data, track results and analyse information for non-conformances.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Record and report non-conformances, and drive investigations with suppliers for corrective actions.
• Coordinate sampling, testing and release decisions using the ERP and laboratory workflows.
• Support audits and maintain traceability and documentation across the intake process.
• Communicate findings and coordinate with internal and supplier teams to resolve issues.
