Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a proactive Raw Material Quality Auditor to join our Technical team in Bristol. You will help ensure incoming ingredients and packaging meet quality, safety and regulatory standards.

You will audit storage, test materials, and support corrective actions, working closely with Operations and Technical teams to uphold high quality and compliance across products and brands.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing, quality assurance or technical environment.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMP and allergen management.
• Understanding of non-conformance reporting and corrective actions.
• Basic microbiological awareness and knowledge of food safety principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging against supplier specs.
• Audit storage areas and ensure GMP and hygiene standards.
• Identify non-conformances and drive corrective actions with suppliers and teams.
• Check temperature-controlled storage areas and equipment.
• Collect samples and follow testing procedures for safety and legality of products.
• Maintain accurate records and support traceability for audits.
• Communicate quality findings and trends across the business.
• Look for smarter, safer, more efficient ways of working.
