Job summary

The Compleat Food Group in Ebbw Vale is hiring a Quality Auditor (Intake) to join the Technical team. You will inspect incoming raw materials and packaging, test samples, identify non-conformities and work with suppliers to resolve issues, ensuring quality and compliance from the start of production.

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt of raw materials and packaging to confirm compliance with specifications and documentation.
• Collect and manage chemical, microbiological and organoleptic samples per procedures.
• Book and dispatch samples for lab testing and review results for non-conformances.
• Inspect incoming packaging against standards and artwork; release clarity.
• Record temperature checks and escalate out-of-range results.
• Contribute to supplier investigations and supplier non-conformance reports.
• Assist with supplier corrective actions and customer/retailer complaint responses.
• Perform GMP, hygiene and fabrication audits and follow up actions.
