Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a proactive Raw Material Quality Auditor to join our Technical team in Bristol. You will help ensure incoming ingredients and packaging meet the highest quality, safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, auditing storage, identifying non-conformances, and supporting internal/external audits while maintaining accurate records and clear communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food manufacturing QA/technical
• Knowledge of food safety GMP and allergen management
• Understanding of non-conformance reporting and corrective actions
• Basic microbiological awareness and principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and record-keeping

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging against supplier specs.
• Audit storage areas and ensure GMP and hygiene standards are met.
• Identify non-conformances and drive corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor temperature-controlled storage areas and equipment.
• Collect samples and follow testing procedures to protect product safety and legality.
• Maintain accurate records and support traceability for audits.
• Communicate quality findings and trends across the business.
