Job Description:

MCS Group is proud to partner with a global organization known for its innovative work to recruit a Material Planner. This is a 12-month contract within the supply chain team, focusing on raw material planning, supplier management, and supporting a broader business project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the business transformation project with specific supply chain planning tasks.
• Order and schedule materials for delivery from suppliers in the required quantities and delivery dates.
• Ensure deliveries occur on time, in the correct containers, and in the right quantities.
• Validate supplier schedules to meet facility demands.
• Resolve delivery and invoice discrepancies.
• Coordinate activities to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Manage scheduling and control of onward ship materials.
• Complete system, data, reporting, and ad hoc review tasks.
• Maintain SAP S4/Hana system master data for suppliers.
• Provide weekly KPI reports.
• Coordinate with engineering teams as necessary.
• Previous experience in material planning or supply chain roles preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP S4/Hana.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all business levels.
