Position: Specialist Recruitment Consultant (Technical and Engineering) at MCS Group

Overview

MCS Group, a trusted recruitment consultancy, is partnered with a global organization known for its innovative work. We are recruiting for a Material Planner on a 12-month contract within the supply chain team, focusing on raw material planning, supplier management, and supporting broader business projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support supply chain transformation projects with specific planning tasks.
2. Order and schedule materials for delivery in the required quantities and dates.
3. Ensure timely deliveries with correct containers and quantities.
4. Validate supplier schedules to meet facility demands.
5. Address delivery and invoice discrepancies to resolution.
6. Maintain optimal inventory levels through coordination and activities.
7. Manage scheduling and control of onward shipped materials.
8. Complete system data, reporting, and ad hoc reviews.
9. Maintain SAP S4/Hana system master data for suppliers.
10. Report weekly on KPIs.
11. Coordinate with engineering teams.
12. Utilize MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP S4/Hana.
13. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
14. Communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
