By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of highly innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built, and sold. Anduril’s systems are powered by Lattice OS, an AI‑powered operating system that turns data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Maneuver Dominance team develops operationally relevant, multi‑asset autonomy. We focus on building next‑generation autonomous capabilities by leveraging existing Anduril platforms such as Ghost or Altius, integrating third‑party platforms into Anduril’s Lattice ecosystem, and developing breakthrough systems that shape the future of the battlefield.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As an Uncrewed Air Systems (UAS) Technician, you will build, configure, and maintain Anduril UK's advanced UAS fleet. The role requires expert‑level technical proficiency in hardware integration and flight controllers (Pixhawk/Cube Orange), ideally with flight‑test experience. Your expertise in system architectures, hardware integration, and troubleshooting will directly impact the development and deployment of cutting‑edge defense technology.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead the physical integration, setup, and configuration of UAS platforms, including flight controllers (Pixhawk and Cube Orange), GPS modules, telemetry, and payload systems.
  • Serve as subject‑matter expert on flight controller configuration, calibration, firmware management, and parameter tuning using ground control station software.
  • Conduct pre‑flight, in‑flight, and post‑flight diagnostics; perform field maintenance, hardware modifications, and fault rectification to maintain operational readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, flight test, and project teams to provide technical feedback on UAS performance, integrate new technologies, and help develop safe systems of work.
  • Maintain technical records, maintenance logs, and configuration control documentation.
  • Opportunities will arise to achieve and maintain UAS flight qualifications as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • Expert‑level proficiency with Pixhawk and Cube Orange Flight Controllers, including hands‑on integration, setup, configuration, advanced troubleshooting, and custom parameter tuning.
  • Proven experience in aviation maintenance, electronics, robotics, or a related technical field with a deep understanding of UAS system architectures and flight dynamics.
  • Practical hands‑on skills in electronics, soldering, battery management, and integration of complex components.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills under pressure and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to support field integration and flight test operations.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a UK Security Check (SC) clearance or higher.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • Experience or exposure to flight‑testing environments, including operating within UK Civil or Military UAS regulatory regimes.
  • Experience integrating and testing UAS designed for challenging environments.
  • Valid UK CAA General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC) or A2 Certificate of Competency (CofC) with demonstrated competence in planning and executing UAS flight operations.
