A healthcare trust in the UK is seeking a Clinical Lead for the Rapid Assessment & Frailty Team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Multi-Disciplinary Team based in the emergency access areas of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn, providing Clinical expertise, specialising in Admission Avoidance Services for the Frail elderly population.
The post holder is required to provide the Clinical Lead role in an integrated multi-professional admission avoidance team located within the Emergency Care & Assessment Areas based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The post holder will be required to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skill in the communication, negotiation and delivery of a multi-stakeholder service.
Within the job role, there will be a need to undertake practice clinically at a high level dealing with highly complex patients and also operationally in ensuring the delivery of the service is well led, efficiently delivered and continually monitored.
There will be a need to balance competing priorities of stakeholders, patients, relatives and others, whilst supporting the staff within the service and maintaining close networks of support services.
