Job summary

MenziesAviation is recruiting in the United Kingdom for ramp and baggage handling roles. You will load and unload baggage, perform baggage sortation, and ensure safety and compliance across operations at our airport sites.

Candidates must provide a full 5-year history, valid passport, NI proof, address proof, a UK driving licence, and pass a criminal record check with airside security clearance. This is a site-based position with strict safety policies.

Responsibilities

• On-load and off-load baggage manually or mechanically, in accordance with the relevant training received.
• Undertake all relevant baggage sortation duties in a safe and efficient manner, setting up flights, using BRS & Brock scanner where required.
• Carry out area hazard checks.
• Carry out aircraft inspections.
• Carry out equipment inspections, pre-trip, daily & weekly.
• Report any faults or irregularities with equipment, facilities or processes to the appropriate Management.

Role Purpose

Reporting to the Team Leader, BOH Supervisor & BOH Duty Manager. Delivering high performance standards around all aspects of ramp and baggage handling, meeting the requirements of our customers and maintaining health and safety and overall good working practices in accordance to company policies and procedures at all times.

What you will be doing
