Siemens in Manchester offers a Degree Apprenticeship (Level 6) in Project Controls Professional, delivering hands-on experience from day one. The 48‑month programme combines technical training with mentoring and a Business Impact Project, culminating in a permanent role upon successful completion.

You will align to a business role from day one, with virtual day release delivery and support across railway signalling projects, learning schedules, budgets, resources, risks and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Candidates must have achieved or be on track to achieve 96 UCAS points
• 5 GCSEs grade 4 or above including maths and English language or 3 A Levels (or BTEC equivalent) at grade C or above
• Logical thinking, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
• Ability to work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
• Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of railway signalling and control projects
• Work alongside engineering, software and installation specialists to keep projects coordinated
• Develop project management skills in areas like schedules, budgets, resources, risks and safety requirements
• Build communication and stakeholder management skills with colleagues, customers, suppliers and project partners
